How can you get smooth and refreshes skin in summers?

Revitalize your skin with these homemade summer face masks!

Hot weather can dehydrate your skin as well as the cause :

The heat and humidity deprive the skin of its freshness and glow, giving it a dull appearance. Excessive sweating also adds to the problem.

The high amount of sun rays can cause :

Since your face, neck, and hands generally remain exposed, these areas are more susceptible to sun damage.

ALOE VERA :

Aloe vera is highly loaded with nutrients and antioxidants helps fights signs of premature aging, dark spots, and blemishes click here to know more.

Method :

Take a bowl.

Add :

  • Aloe vera gel – 1/4th cup
  • Honey – 1 tablespoon
  • Mix together 1/4th cup aloe vera gel and 1 tablespoon of honey.
  • Apply the mixture on your face using an applicator brush.
  • Leave it on for 20 minutes before rinsing your face with cold water.

CUCUMBER :

Cucumber is packed with minerals and vitamins which help to keep the skin nourished and well refreshed in summer click here to know more.

Method :

Take a bowl.

Add :

1 grated cucumber

  • Honey – 1 teaspoon
  • Yogurt – ½ teaspoon
  • Grate a cucumber and take 1 tablespoon of it in a bowl.
  • Add 1 teaspoon of honey and a ½ teaspoon of yogurt.
  • Mix everything well.
  • Apply the mask to your face
  • Use an applicator brush to apply the mixture on your face and let it dry.
  • Keep it on for 15 to 20 minutes before washing your face.

WATERMELON :

This fruit helps to refresh and rejuvenate the body and is highly good for health.

Method :

  • In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of watermelon paste and 1 tablespoon each of milk powder, cucumber juice, and yogurt.
  • Mix the ingredients well.
  • Apply the face mask and let it sit for about 15 minutes.
  • Rinse your face with cold water.

Enjoy the soothing benefits of this watermelon face mask once a week.

SANDALWOOD :

Sandalwood is great in promoting healthy and smooth skin. It removes blemishes and tan well. Sandalwood is also effective in exfoliating the skin, preventing and curing acne, soothing sunburn and reducing signs of premature aging.

Things you’ll need for this mask

  • Sandalwood powder – 2 tablespoons
  • Rose water – enough to make a paste

Method :

  • Combine 2 tablespoons of sandalwood powder and enough rose water to make a paste.
  • Mix well.
  • Apply the paste to your face and let it dry.
  • Use 2 times a week. And rinse it off with water.

MANGO :

 

The beta-carotene and vitamin A content in mangoes rejuvenate and restore the skin, while the antioxidants help keep it healthy and radiant

Method :

  • Combine 2 tablespoons of mango pulp, 1 tablespoon each of yogurt and honey, and a pinch of turmeric powder in a bowl.
  • Mix the ingredients well to form a paste.
  • Apply it on your face.
  • Leave it on for 15 minutes before washing your face with water.

MINT :

Mint is a great ingredient for a homemade summer face mask as it soothes and cools down the skin.

Method :

Take a bowl.

Add :

  • Add a few mint leaves in a blender to form a paste.

Step 2. Add the honey and rose water

Combine the liquid ingredients into the mix

  • Transfer the oatmeal-mint paste into a bowl.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of honey and rose water.
  • Mix the ingredients well.
  • Apply the paste to your face and neck.
  • Massage for a few minutes.
  • Rinse off the mask after 20 to 25 minutes.
