More specifically, you can have dark chocolate with an 80% cocoa percentage. Moreover, you can not eat as much of this as you like! A few square bars as a snack will keep you in ketosis, but eating too much will kick you out of it.
You can have this type of chocolate because cocoa beans contain cocoa butter which is high in fat, which means that it is good for the keto diet.
Yes, you can have this delicious treat on the keto diet! You can also replace regular milk which is absolutely not recommended on the keto diet, with coconut milk which is high in fats.
That makes it perfect for keto which is all about fat rich food, this fat will serve as fuel for the body instead of carbs.
CHICKEN WINGS/BUFFALO WINGS
This is another tasty snack that you can enjoy since most protein is allowed on the keto diet. However, you have to make a few changes to this savory treat to make it keto friendly and remain in ketosis.
Firstly, avoid store-bought wing sauces and things of that nature because they are high in sugar. This is not good for the keto diet. Instead, you can use things like hot sauce or olive oil to help spice up your wings.
For the dressing for the wings, you can make a lite mayonnaise and that won’t necessarily break your keto diet either!
Guacamole is the perfect snack to have after a long day of work, but what works out even better is that it works in the keto diet.
The keto diet’s main goal is to consume healthy fats, and guacamole is loaded with those. However, the keto diet does not allow bread, so choosing a complement to go with your guacamole can be difficult.
Instead of going with starchy chips and bread filled with carbs, try some fresh vegetables, and remain in ketosis!
The keto diet allows the consumption of certain alcohol but again everything in moderation. There are different types of alcohol that have little to no carbs thus making them good options for the keto diet.
