CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO:
While it may be thrown aside at times in favor of lifting weights, cardio is an essential component to getting those six pack abs. Cardio exercise is any exercise that increases your heart rate, and some examples include running, walking, swimming, and jumping rope. Cardio or aerobic exercise has been shown to decrease belly fat. Therefore, to get that perfect summer body, cardio exercise is a must. This will chip away at any extra fat, and will better reveal your abdomen muscles. However, this is just one part of the whole picture.
Foods such as meat, eggs, fish, nuts, and legumes are all considered to be protein-rich foods. It is essential for anyone trying to achieve abdomen muscles to consume as much protein as they can.Protein builds muscle mass which will help better shape their body. Protein has also been known to decrease appetite which means it is perfect for those on a diet. Many people have also stated they feel fuller after consumer protein.Essentially protein makes the body leaner and gets rid of fat, while still maintaining or even increasing muscle mass. You cannot achieve your goal of six-pack abs without the consumption of protein.
Fiber is another food that aids in making the perfect summer body. Some examples of good, healthy fiber-rich foods include grains, nuts, and seeds, fruits, and vegetables. This type of food will help burn fat around the belly. The more fiber you consume the more full you will feel. Studies have shown that those people that increase their fiber intake actually end up losing more weight than those that do not.
STAY AWAY FROM JUNK FOOD:
While this may at first seem obvious, it is rather an important one. Foods that are heavily processed lack proper nutrients and vitamins that the body needs to be healthy. They are also high in things that hurt the body and increase weight such as carbs, fats, and sodium. Avoiding these foods and eating healthier foods like fiber and protein will make you feel fuller, and actually, burn more calories! This is because it takes longer for the body to process and digest foods such as protein and fiber. It takes more energy thus more fat is burned. You would also notice that you feel fuller and less hungry as compared to junk food.
The Abdominal Muscle is the muscle that runs along the abdomen and gives the appearance of the six-pack. However, abdominal exercises alone will not give you the results you want, as shown by multiple studies. Instead, you have to do abdominal exercises, cardio, and eat right. Some abdominal exercises include crunches, planks, pull up/knee up, leg raises, and the mountain climber.
